We literally couldn't be happier with the care our children have received at Little Sunlights. They say it takes a village to raise children, well I say it takes a fantastic nursery together with a loving family. We are so lucky to have found this nursery, and I am constantly telling all my mum friends how fantastic it is. The nursery staff are kind and go above and beyond to teach, care and guide the children. All the children play so beautifully together. The food they are given is top notch. They eat very well and have a fantastic variety. Gill is absolutely amazing. I don't know how she does it but I know she's one of the hardest workers out there and the results are there to be seen. All the little things she adds to the day-to-day care and fun for the children is amazing. The staff at Little Sunlights seem to consider this more than a job and give way way way over what is the basic level of care. I have no concerns about my children's care and am literally thankfully everyday I have found this nursery and hope it stays this fabulous until all my kids reach school age. Massive thanks to Alison for all the help she gave my daughter Rose in reaching milestones having been out of nursery. Huge hats off to Sally who helps raise kind and happy individuals and respects the kids for exactly who they are. All the staff do way more than they have to. I just wanted to say that my children absolutely love attending Little Sunlights. The progress they have both made is staggering. I can see huge improvements in both their personal, social and emotional wellbeing. They have grown so much in confidence and independence which is amazing to see. Our son Leo has only been at Little Sunlights for a few weeks now but is settling in really well which is very much we feel down to the team looking after him. He’s eating lovely homemade food and we feel is being really well looked after, enjoying playing and developing at the nursery. George has been at Little Sunlights for almost 1 year, and he loves his time there. The range of activities and variety of food offered are excellent and we are kept well informed of George’s day with regular app updates and daily photos. One of the key aspects that attracted us to Little Sunlights was its size, allowing George to develop close relationships with the staff. This extends beyond the under 2’s area to staff and children across the nursery due to its unique layout, and it makes us feel confident about George’s transitions when moving up. What makes Little Sunlights really special is its staff. They are all dedicated to the happiness and development of George, not least in recent weeks when they have committed to daily 1-1 time with George to help support his language development. Our son, Luka, has attended Little Sunlights Nursery in Romsey since September 2021. Our older children never needed to attend a nursery so choosing the right place and people to entrust the care of Luka was very important to us. In the 3 years Luka has attended Little Sunlights we have been overwhelmed by the support and care all the staff have shown Luka and our family. In particular we would like to highlight how Gill has always gone above and beyond for Luka. He is on the autism pathway, and is non-verbal, so has additional needs and Gill has been a fantastic support as we navigate this tricky time. We would also like to make you aware of another staff member who has been amazing with Luka, Alison. She is so good with Luka and so in tune with the difficult and different behaviours he has. We honestly would have struggled leaving Luka anywhere else, especially as his additional needs become more apparent. We have no doubt that our daughter is in the most supportive, loving and secure environment at The Little Sunlights Nursery. We have been thoroughly impressed with the experience Alexander has had so far at Little Sunlights. Every member of staff has taken time and care to get to know Alexander and to help him to develop. The changes in his development over the last two years have been wonderful to see and have been a result of the dedication and commitment of the staff. This extends to the provision of excellent on-site catering. He thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery and is continually learning new skills. There is always a huge variety of tasks and activities, including time outdoors and visits to the library and park, which are particular highlights. The nursery always keep parents up to date with progress and regular meetings to discuss the children's development. In addition the nursery plans activities to build a community of parents which strengthens the relationships of the children as well. The sense of community nurtured within the nursery will provide Alexander with a great basis for school and future life.
